Bonnet Deliveries and an Award Winning Curry

Last week turned into a proper mini road trip for Bonnet & Boot, with three bonnet deliveries lined up and the sun on our side. The forecast promised 25º in London, the roads were clear, and it was the perfect excuse to get out and about.
First stop was in London, where we delivered a Jägermeister-inspired bonnet to a returning customer. Already the proud owner of two Bonnet & Boot bonnets, they’ve now added a third to their collection. It’s always rewarding to see our work become part of a customer’s growing line-up.

From there it was on to East Finchley and the family-run hub of 67 Sourdough, Hexagon Classics, and The Engine Rooms. Trading since 1963, the business continues to thrive with cars, pizza, and events all under one roof. We were invited to create a freestanding bonnet display with their logo, and we also added another heritage livery to the venue. A brilliant space with an atmosphere all of its own.

The last delivery of the trip took us to Daventry and a sunny visit to Pistons & Rings. Just three months after opening and already buzzing, it was great to catch up with Sam holding the fort and see how much the venue has grown. We left behind a new display piece, a Brumos-wrapped SC bonnet, now taking pride of place among the cars and bikes.

With the deliveries done, I rounded off the road trip with a night at the in-laws and award winning curry from Kinver Tandoori, and a couple of pints of HPA, the perfect way to end a couple days on the road!
