Invisible Stickers - Paint Protection Film Installation

Time to protect the front end of the Fjord Green 40th ready for the gravel on the Swiss Alps in September!

For our paint protection film installation, the chosen product was Stek Dynoshield with a smooth ultra gloss, ultra clear finish that protects the paint and also makes it shine like it was brand new.

After a good clean down, the car was soaked, ready to stretch and slide the PPF into position.

The material was fitted straight off the roll, rather than using a pre-cut template so there were no worries about matching up holes and cutouts but I must admit, seeing the edges getting trimmed on the car was pretty scary to watch!

On Chris’ recommendation I kept the car indoors for a full 24 hours post installation. A couple of small water bubbles trapped underneath disappeared after a couple of days using this breathable PPF film and the end result is flawless.

The Sticker Queen couldn’t help wonder where the job satisfaction was installing stickers that you can’t see, but I’m dead chuffed with the result and less worried about flying stones!
