Our Adventure at the Spa Classic 2023

Last May, we hit the road in our partially wrapped Porsche 718 Cayman, which we dolled up in honour of Porsche’s 75th anniversary. Our destination? The historic races at Spa Classic in Belgium, a weekend that promised—and delivered—unforgettable excitement.

The drive to Spa was as smooth as the sleek finish on a newly wrapped bonnet! The weather was perfect all weekend, treating us to sunny skies—a perfect backdrop for some of the most exhilarating races, especially the Porsche 2L Cup. Watching the cars speed by, each adorned with inspiring graphics, was a real treat for us.

Belgian beer and local cuisine added a delightful flavour to our trip, enhancing the experience beyond just the visual thrill of racing cars. Each evening, we'd return to our hotel, which, despite its eerily quiet ambiance—reminiscent of a setting straight out of a scary movie—couldn't dampen our spirits.

The highlight of our trip? Without a doubt, it was experiencing the roar and thrill of the Porsche 2L Cup. It's something about historical races that just gets the adrenaline pumping—the legacy of these cars, the intensity of the races, and the passion of everyone involved.

We left Spa with heavy hearts as we really didn't want to come home. But, like all good things, our trip had to come to an end, leaving us with memories to cherish and experiences to inspire our next designs.

As we look forward to the 2024 Spa Classic, we're buzzing with excitement and already planning how to make our next trip even more special. Until then, we’ll keep wrapping and creating, inspired by the incredible graphics and the relentless spirit of the racing world.
