A clean, striking tribute to one of the most intriguing cars from Porsche’s transaxle racing history.

Our design is inspired by the white-and-yellow No. 1 Porsche 924 Carrera GTP that competed at the 1981 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driven by Walter Röhrl and Jürgen Barth, the experimental car was effectively a prototype for the forthcoming Porsche 944, and completed the 24-hour race seventh overall.

Created on a Porsche 924 Turbo-style bonnet, the distinctive NACA intake adds another layer of transaxle character. The panel has been prepared and finished in crisp white, with our interpretation of the No. 1 BOSS racing livery, yellow Shell detailing and subtly ghosted period-sponsor graphics.

This is an independent piece of automotive wall art rather than an exact replica, designed to capture the beautifully understated character of the original racing car.

Supplied with its wall-mounting system and ready to hang.

A fascinating piece of Le Mans history, reimagined for the wall.
