The naturally weathered engine lid shown here became one of the stars of our 2026 events. Visitors at Boxengasse went mad for it, and the original eventually found a new home with a lovely Porsche-mad couple in Sheffield, for their actual living room!

After being asked repeatedly whether we could make another, we carefully captured the character of its sun-baked Californian patina and developed it into a printable artwork.

Each recreated piece begins with a Porsche 911 engine lid that is stripped, blasted and powder-coated before receiving our custom 3M matte wrap. The wrap reproduces the layered fading, staining and surface character of the original without relying on active rust or further deterioration.

Supplied with its wall-mounting system and ready to hang. Badge combinations may vary according to availability, and alternative details can be discussed when ordering.

The appearance is deliberately aged, but the preparation and finish are entirely new, a little California sunshine, recreated for the wall.
