The unmistakable number 19, Porsche 917km of the John Wyer Automotive Team, only second overall to the Martini Racing 936.   The sight of these two fighting it out on the street circuit of Le Man must have been an unbelievable sight and sound.  The previous years winner Dickie Attwood and Herbert Muller had an amazing race securing the Gulf livery in the Motorsport hall of fame for ever.
