The iconic livery of the Martini Racing team was formed back in 1969 for two Porsche 907 entries into sports car racing.  During the 1970's Porsche and Martini became famous in motorsport, sponsoring the works 917 that was the overall winner in 1971 @ Le Man.
 Jacky Ickx and Gijs van Lennep had an impressive lead which the following pack struggled to make up, even a pit stop for a broken exhaust was not enough for the duo to lose overall victory in the Martini Racing Porsche 936.
