The Brumos racing team first used the now iconic white, blue, and red sweeps in 1972 aboard the Porsche 917-10 in the Can-Am series.  Driver Peter Gregg described the 917 as a “monster” finally finishing 9th overall in the drivers’ championship.  The 1973 season brought more success for Gregg and the Brumos team at the 24 Hours of Daytona.  The number 59 Porsche 2.8 RSR is the inspiration for this fantastic display.

 

The bonnet is a genuine Porsche 911 panel, the ducktail engine lid is a composite replica with a genuine grill prepared and painted in a faithful shade of motorsport white with high-quality 3M Brumos Racing-inspired graphics. The artwork is rounded out by two Group 4 alloy wheels finished in Weiss gold and shod in racing tyres.

 

The modular steel frame has a high-quality black powder coated finish and measures 2.2m in length and 2.2m in height to easily fit in most spaces. The seller notes that the frame can be wall mounted or made free standing.
