Sold—but we can create another
This one-off display was commissioned for a customer with a stunning Stone Grey Rennsport restomod 911. Inspired by the famous No. 147 Monte Carlo rally car, the design was reimagined in Stone Grey to complement the customer’s own car.
No. 147 marked the Porsche 911’s competition debut at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, where Herbert Linge and Peter Falk battled through extreme winter conditions to finish fifth overall. The historic car was later restored by Porsche Classic and returned to the roads around Monte Carlo with rally legend Walter Röhrl behind the wheel.
Created in the style of a giant model kit, the finished display measures 2.1 metres high by 2.2 metres wide. Its modular galvanised frame can be either floor- or wall-mounted.
The composite long-nose bonnet features a Stone Grey finish, auxiliary lights, number plate and period-inspired graphics. The engine decklid includes a genuine Porsche grille, leather pull handles and complementary details, while the powder-coated steel wheels echo the narrow 165-section tyres of the original rally car.
The original commission has now sold, but we can create a similar display to order. Each one is individually made, allowing the colours and details to be tailored to the customer, car or setting.
A commanding piece of automotive art, built to celebrate the details that matter.
