This one-off commission was created for a good customer who owns a stunning Stone Grey Rennsport restomod 911. And what pairs perfectly with a car like that? one of our wall displays, of course!
Our Tribute Display celebrates car No.147, painstakingly restored by Porsche Classic in 2015 and later driven by rally legend Walter Röhrl. Designed in the spirit of a giant “Airfix-style” kit, it’s a standout piece for any collection or a great talking point in a showroom or commercial space.
The modular galvanised frame stands at 2.1m high by 2.2m wide and can be either floor-mounted or wall-mounted. The composite Stone Grey long-nose bonnet has been carefully modified to replicate the original, complete with period-correct graphics and number plate. The engine decklid features a genuine Porsche grille, leather pull handles and matching accessories. And to finish it off, the steel powder-coated wheels echo the skinny 165-profile tyres of the era.
A striking tribute with serious presence — built to honour the details that matter.

1965 to 1970 was a stellar period for Porsche Rally Cars in the “Queen of Rallies” the Monte Carlo. Class and overall victories from British driver Quick Vic Elford cemented the early 1965 success despite the snow for Porsche employees Herbert Linge and Peter Falk, finally finishing in 5th Place.

Akin to a giant “Airfix” style kit our display would look fantastic housed with any collection or maybe in a commercial environment as a great customer talking point.
